PreCrime™ Platform 3.0 is here!

Today, we're excited to unveil a milestone in the evolution of our product with the release of PreCrime™ Platform 3.0. This update represents the culmination of our team's hard work, collaboration, and commitment to delivering the best possible experience for our customers. With significant strides in performance, user interface, and partner integration, we’re bringing you a platform that’s faster, more intuitive, and even more transparent. Let’s dive into the key features of this exciting release.

New, Faster APIs

We are introducing new APIs designed to significantly boost platform speed and efficiency. These enhancements ensure faster responses, reduced latency, and improved overall performance. Customers using older APIs must transition to these new endpoints, as outlined in our documentation, for a superior experience. This upgrade will result in immediate and noticeable improvements, allowing us to better serve our users with faster data retrieval and application response times.

Significant Platform Speed Improvement

Leveraging these new APIs, we've transformed the PreCrime platform with real-time attack data processing across all pages and core components. You will now experience faster data retrieval, streamlined navigation, and quicker access to comprehensive information on attack prediction, disruption, and takedown activities. This update significantly reduces load times, enabling faster decision-making.

Partner Monitoring System

We've enhanced the Client Panel with partner monitoring integration. This feature provides real-time insights into the status and performance of key disruption partners, including VirusTotal, Spamhaus, and Quad9. You can now track partner effectiveness directly within the platform, ensuring greater transparency in how attacks are managed. This update not only strengthens our platform’s transparency but also helps you to better track and assess partner effectiveness. (more here)

Takedown Status Lifecycle for Transparency

Our takedown status has been updated to display a more efficient lifecycle giving unprecedented transparency. You can now access a precise timeline that accurately details the status of the takedown over the course of 30 days on the “Attack detail” page. The lifecycle for a takedown runs from 0 to 30 days, after which takedowns are considered unsuccessful and not charged to the customer. Stages include several contact attempts (automatic), manual escalations for review and evidence gathering if needed. The takedown system can be either manual or automatic, depending on the customer's needs, especially for those handling high attack volumes. This timeline also breaks down the lifecycle into specific stages, from initial attempts to resolve within hours, to escalation for manual review, to last-chance efforts. (more here)

Disruption Impact Range

The new Disruption Impact Range feature provides you with an objective measure of the effectiveness of our disruption network. This weighted ranking system assigns a score based on each partner’s reach and performance, allowing you to understand how well VirusTotal, Google Safe Browsing, Spamhaus, Quad9, and others are mitigating threats. This transparency helps quantify the value and effectiveness of our disruption partners, ensuring you are always protected by the best in the industry. (more here)

Attack workflow and management improved

To further improve the user experience, we’ve revamped the platform’s navigation. The "Active Defense" section is now separated into two distinct categories: "Disrupted Attacks" and "Takedowns." We’ve also reorganized the menu to include new pages for "Trademark," "Owned," and "Discarded" threats, now accessible via an easy-to-use accordion menu. These changes simplify the platform’s workflow, making it more intuitive and easier to manage. (more here)

Improved Onboarding Experience (delayed to v3.1)

We will be making significant improvements to the onboarding process, based on user feedback. New users will soon enjoy a more streamlined experience with the ability to edit fields, a cleaner discovery tour, and helpful tooltips throughout. We will also be adding a ‘Back’ button for easier navigation, ensuring the onboarding journey is as seamless as possible.

This release of PreCrime™ Platform 3.0 is a major leap forward, enhancing performance, transparency, and user experience. We’re confident that these updates will help you stay ahead of emerging threats and manage your digital defense more effectively than ever before.

Thank you for your continued trust and support as we continue to innovate and make PreCrime™ the leading platform for predictive attack intelligence.
